Who are we?

Speedy Marquee are one of the largest, independent office supplies companies on the south coast of England.

We are your single source supplier for all your Office Supplies and Workplace Needs. Speedy Marquee is part of the Marquee Media Ltd group of companies which incorporates Speedy Marquee and Marquee Print. From humble beginnings over 35 years ago we have now grown into a national office products supplier.

We are a family business incorporating two generations. We are proud of our independent status and the flexibility it brings. It means we can source and buy our products from various suppliers and wholesalers, which in turn means we always offer you the customer the best possible deal. Trading for this length of time has given us a very healthy financial status – nothing is leased or rented which gives us a very low cost infrastructure.

We have partnered the majority of our business with one of the most efficient wholesaler supply chains in the U.K.

This is designed to take the cost out, enhance our purchase price and provide a national storage and distribution facility. Our national distribution centre known as Arrow or ADC compromises of a 215,000 sq ft purpose bulit building. Arrow has over 2.5km of conveyor systems and on a daily basis averages around 70,000 picks. Arrows current stock holding is in excess of £29 million pounds, with over 21,500 products.

About our name

When Martin Hickman our Managing Director first set up and established Marquee Print he drew on the name of the Marquee Club in London as inspiration for the name for his printing business. Martin purchased an office supplies company called Speedy Office Supplies the new name was born – Speedy Marquee.
